Apartment Hunters

Trying to find a place to live from across the country has been a challenge, but I think I've found my place!  A 700 square foot studio loft in downtown.  I have been using the services of a realtor who has been great about being my eyes in this whole process.  If all goes well, I will be sending my application and signing a lease for this place, sight unseen.

I wonder if I am the only one worried about logistics of moving.  TFA tells us that they'll give us a day during induction to look for a place.  A day.  Really?  Having  day to view and then trying to lock something down while being at training in Atlanta doesn't sound great to me.  So, in exchange I'll spend an extra $1000+ in rent and get settled in early.  I think the piece of mind will be well worth it.
